Where to find female dogs to breed?

Me and my boyfriend have our second pure-breed Siberian Husky male, except this one still has his man-hood! Anyway, we were thinking about wanting to breed him out and have puppies. What I wanted to know is where to start? I know that buy adopting another Husky from a shelter would probably result in her already being fixed. And we wouldn't mind purchasing a female Husky, but we would also consider the opintion of studding him out. Also, if we do have just a stud service for him, would it be too much to ask for just a puppy from one of the litters for payment? Really its our first time breeding and we want to know the basics and how it all works. Lucky for us, it would seem that we have one important piece of the puzzle already.

Thanks so much,
Grace

Also, if anyone has a female Husky to breed let me know :)

No you do not have any pieces to the puzzle. The first thing you need is a dog worthy of breeding. That would mean that he had earned his championship's was at least two years old and had all genetic and health checks done before you would even begin to breed. Than you would want to find a female worthy of your male who had done all of the above. Once you have earned your championships the owners of females would be lining up to mate with your dog. As you have done none of the above what you have is a pet quality dog who needs to be fixed. We have enough poor quality Husky's in the shelters now no need to add yours to the mix.
